In the 1930's Columbia and Disney released a series of animated shorts with Mickey Mouse the icon, remaining the star through out, and a series of promotion posters of Mickey pressed out in green shorts and red shoes. An example of this is the 1931 Columbia Pictures brought you the Walt Disney Animated Production of "Mickey Cuts Up" (embedded below!) in an animated short featuring other legendary characters, oddly, revolving the cutting of grass.
In 2022 Medicom Toy release the legendary poster graphic in Bearbrick glory, in signature red boots, green short and Mickey Mouse infectious smile. If there is an item that presents everything from animation, nostalgia, cinema, industry and the over all innocence that Mickey brings, this one is truly it.
