Thank you to Steve from @sixtre photography for grabbing the tension that unfolded during the Exedy Clutch's Dragster Drag Race. 

The 5th instalment of this competition, saw over 20 races go head to head in 39 degree temperature.

The bitumen was burning.

Off to a good start, eyes were on a handful of racers, and it boiled down to the semis where during a heated battle, 4 time back to back to back champion; Blue Helmet, Rhys from Colac suffered mechanical issues, losing closely to new racer to watch, "2 chains". 

Ultimately eliminating Blue Helmet from the overall competition, and opening it up to anyone during the finals.

A new face with the youngin' on the vintage 3 speed step over saw a few old timers blitzed, and community favourite Tyrone on the Bratz bike saw a final for the ages. 

With $300 CASH on the line from Exedy Clutch's, the final 2 were set, "Young newcomer on vintage 3 speed step over" Vs "Tyrone on the Bratz".

The flurry in Green Gully was back, with a riveting race final, seeing Tyrone crowned as the 5th Exedy Clutch's Dragster Drag Race champion.
